Last year, Suraya (my colleague) brought me some goodies to office when i had to work on 3rd day of Raya.. This year, having to be her first Raya as a married woman, and at a new place, she invited us over for her Hari Raya open house :D
Warmly welcomed us to her home, she laid out her home made kuih raya and drinks, and got us to makan while she prepare some food…
A while later, she brought out fried noodles her mom cooked… it was yummy! Then followed by nasi himpit and kuah kacang (spicy peanut sauce) and also beef rendang….
Look at the photos.. not only that they look good, it tastes better! The fried noodles (mee goreng) was good, the beef rendang she made was also good! She was so happy when Lorna complimented the rendang cause it’s her second time preparing it… the first time was yesterday when she made and brought it to her in laws. She said many loved it too :D
So she said she’s gonna make it the next time we have function, be it outings or office potluck…

Meet Suraya’s new pet kitten.. not sure what her name is though… she is one playful kitten.. and just sprained her front leg just right before we arrive, cos she was jumping and running all over…
After a while… kitty got tired and ZZzzzzzzz… look at how the way she sleeps….. hahaha….
