Went to Aji on several occasions and these photos are taken on 2 separate visits, one was during dinner and another one was for lunch. Never once I leave the place with any dissatisfaction. Usually with happy tummy and happy pocket. Aji offers an extensive choice of meal sets of different noodles and rice, a la carte menu, bento sets and more.
The ambiance is good, however, this is not a very big outlet, so you need to go early or make a reservation. Else, you will be put on a waiting list, you leave your number and then can just go around the shops in Prima Tanjung, and they’ll call you once there’s a table, that is also if you can wait like 15 to 30 minutes.

Potato Sarada, also known as potato salad @ MYR 6.00. It is by far the best potato salad I’ve ever had! The texture is smooth, tasted just nice and it has chunks of boiled potato cubes, carrot and japanese cucumber slices and smashed hard boiled eggs. I could eat the whole bowl myself :P
Kimuchi Udon set with gyoza @ MYR22.00. It’s actually a ramen set but I prefer to have udon instead. The set comes with Kimuchi udon (it actually tastes like Yatai’s gekikara ramen), 4 pieces of yummy juicy pan fried gyoza, salad (cabbage with thousand island sauce) and watermelon slices.
The gyoza-s are also oh-so-yummy with black vinegar as dipping.
I cannot remember what is the name of this set… It’s deep fried breaded chicken/pork with onions stir fried in like some brown sauce.. something like that… MYR 28.00. Comes with rice, miso soup, pickles, salad and watermelon slices.
Had these on another visit during lunch with my sis. We both ordered the rice set which comes with the dish of choice, rice, salad, miso soup, pickles, and watermelon slices.
Chiki chiki ban ban set @ MYR 13.00. With generous pieces of deep fried chicken coated with egg with mayo and cabbages.
Teriyaki chicken set @ MYR12.oo, also kinda generous portion vs the bowl of rice… with lotsa gravy to go with the rice as well :D
The interior is always with dim lighting, which make photo taking a little bit hard unless you go with the flash or mini tripod. I have shaky hands.. so it’s a challenge! hahaha…

Tatami-like seating, separated by cloth curtain…. Overall, it’s worth visiting for the ambiance, the food and also the reasonable price. People there are nice too :)
