Went for lunch as this restaurant with my colleagues, same row with Khaleel Nasi Kandar, back row of Kayu Nasi Kandar.
They offer pretty extensive menu as well beside nasi campur (mixed/economy rice)
Preparing our orders… not many customers I notice…. they are open for lunch, dinner and supper…
Nasi Goreng Special @ MYR 5.50 which actually looks like the thai belacan fried rice concept.. this one came with few deep fried prawns, some chicken in sauce, cucmber, onion and tomato slice, shredded omelette and some cracker. My colleague said it’s just so so…. another one didn’t like it…
Nasi Goreng Kampung @ MYR3.50
Char Koay Teow @ MYR 3.50, a little bit too watery/soupy.. portion is small and ingredients not very generous… taste wise also just so so…
The nasi campur however looks not bad, simple and appetizing looking…
Price differs, depending on what you take…. I guess on average will cost at around MYR 2.50 to MYR6.00
The nasi campur corner with dishes laid out nicely with a tray of fresh greens to go with the sambal belacan…
The interior in pretty attractive, deep chili red walls, with various decorative items….
Not sure if it’s purely decorative or they also sell these collectible items… nice bird cages there too! Will try the nasi campur if I ever go back there again… :D
