This is Set A, for MYR3.90, it comes with a bowl of smooth dried scallops porridge and a bowl of “you tiao” – deep fried crullers aka yau char kuay. Don bother locating the dried scallops, it’s just shreds that are not very much visible..
Light, simple meal, yet satisfying.
Some may opt to have the “you tiao” with a bowl of soya bean milk instead, just like how people eat in Hong Kong, for the same price.
They also have soya bean milk and tau fu far available beside the deep fried snacks such as butterfly bun, some called is “hua chee” and I’ve heard more vulgar names like “cow’s testicles” (in hokkien) hahahaha….also fried buns aka ham chim peng, both plain and with red bean fillings, sesame balls, sweet potato balls, and even mixed buns (the one with sweet sticky glutinous rice).
They currently have quite a number of franchise in KL and also Penang. Their website here.
